IDAD 2024 is a regional statistics/biostatistics conference that is co-sponsored by the University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Biostatistics & Data Science, Kansas Western-Missouri Chapter of the American Statistical Association, University of Kansas Cancer Center, Quantitative Omics Core that supports the Kansas Institute for Precision Medicine, K-INBRE, and EMB Statistical Solutions, LLC are pleased to announce the 17th annual Innovations in Design, Analysis and Dissemination: Frontiers in Biostatistics & Data Science (IDAD) conference, to be held on April 25th – 26th, 2024. The first annual IDAD meeting took place in 2007. Over the last 16 years this meeting has become a major draw for quantitative/statistical researchers in the Midwest. Historically, IDAD has been held in Kansas City over the course of two days during the month of April. Given concern over COVID-19, 2021 and 2022 IDAD meetings were entirely virtually. 2023 IDAD was the first in-person meeting after the pandemic and 2024 will again be in-person. This year's meeting will include: a Keynote Address delivered by Dr. Patrick Breheny, Associate Professor, Department of Biostatistics, University of Iowa; a short course will be delivered by Dr. Yuan Ji, Professor of Public Health Sciences, Department of Public Health sciences, University of Chicago, on “Practical Dose Finding and Dose Optimization Designs in Oncology Clinical Trials — Professional Development Continuing Education Course”; and several invited and contributed platform presentations and poster presentations.
